TV content options for STR
I've got a STR with 6 TV's (one in each room and the living room). Each TV has cable and my overall monthly bill is around $250 with high-speed Internet. I'm looking for options to reduce the utility cost. I was thinking of smart TV's with Netflix, this way I only pay for the high-speed Internet and a Netflix subscription.
My concern is with how the guests would respond to this, and would be interested in any feedback from others who've done this. Has anyone considered this or another alternative to cut the cord?

Hi @Anand S., I say you cut the cord. If this is a vacation home people are not there to sit in their bedrooms all night watching TV like they do at home. They are there to engage with one another, eat out, and mingle in the common living areas. I only have TV's in the main common living areas for my STRs (living room, lofts) and have never once received a complaint about no TV in the bedrooms.
If you do go down the smart-tv route, I think you will be fine there as well however as the only complaint I have as an actual guest in a STR with that setup, was when they didn't provide an account to watch Netflix or Hulu. As long as they have an account to login into you should be fine in my humble opinion.
Good luck!
