My husband and I are starting up our first Airbnb home in Galveston, Texas in the next moth or so...
Any tips, suggestions, advice on how to manage, keep guests happy, cleaning up or ANYTHING is welcome.

Thank you!!

@Valeria R. Are you doing a Vacation Rental or renting a room?

You need great pictures and description. You need to be quick in responding to inquiries. You need a great cleaning person/crew. Nothing worse than a bad review about a dirty house.

Stock the kitchen with pots, pans, glasses etc and at least basic seasonings.

I provide paper products (paper towels, T.P. ect) I also provide coffee pot, filters and coffee.

As you start getting reviews your listing will show up closer to the top and that will help you get more bookings and reviews. I would start off on the lower side to start getting bookings and reviews. I have over 70 five star reviews and am a premier partner on Homeaway/VRBO. We stay full and charge top dollar.

List on more than just Airbnb to maximize your rental potential.

We have a card welcoming them by name and a sweet treat in the fridge.

Check on them after they arrive and make sure everything is good and see if they have any questions.
