Just wondering how many out here run short term rentals in Jersey City - i have few apartments that i want to put on market in Heights Area (Palisade ave). Would love to hear from those who are already ahead of me.

I have a three family in jsqr and when I crunched he numbers it was better for me to rent long term. I have 6 short term rentals in the Poconos and the difference vs. long term rental is incredible. In Jersey City I did not find that to be the case. Check out mashavisor, they do a data driven analysis. Don't discount how much extra work and expense comes with the short term rentals. Needs to be more then 50% additional revenue in my opinion to make it worth considering.
