I am not sure what is the reason she has no #SS, but I rented to international graduate students. They were the best tenants ever (verified their identity with passport & College ID)

I feel for you so much, we had a similar tenant the we have inherrited with the house!!! I can PM you my lawyer (he is reasonable and honest, will not be promissing you things that he can not deliver), but there is not very much you can do. If you are allowed please go forward with moving into that unit, this is probbably the only way you have to evict them.

We are getting close to selling one of our long-term properties and would like to purchase a property to fix and flip. Starting our search ourselves, but will appreciate suggestions on good areas to flip (preferably in driving distance from NYC).

I have a buyer for my 4-fam house Jersey City, but this buyer wants house to be delivered vacant. Unfortunately i have a tenant that does not seem to want to move out - how do I offer money ( In would pay them to leave). Should i approach them with a  lawyer? Is there some typo of a "generic legal notice" that people use in similar circumstances? I only want to pay when they vacate the house,  but i assume i will have to put money on some kind of escrow account before they leave.

Do we have any Chicago STR managers/ investors out here? I have a number of STRs in NJ (close to NYC) and looking to expand to Chicago. What areas would you suggest?
