Wife just got under contract on a Vacation Home that we will eventually do some airbnb-ing with.

She's doing 10% vacation loan in her name only.

I have my own Vacation Home in my name not far from hers. Are her lenders going to be concerned with this and turn us down? Are we allowed to have more than one vacation home within 65 miles of each other? Does it not matter since they're entirely in separate names?

Is there no way for them to know that was a 10% loan and maybe I just bought an investment property and the new one is a vacation home for personal use? Mine was purchased within last 3 months so they will see the cashiers check going out of our account. Or do they only care what is coming in?

Mine has its own bank account which receives payments from AirBnB and her name is on that bank account.  I could see that being a problem if they ask where that money is coming from and what the address of the house is.

thanks!
