RESTRICTIVE DRAFT RENTAL ORDINANCE PUBLISHED Palm Springs has now published the rental rules that will be proposed at this Wednesday's 5PM Council meeting, including: No more than 28 rentals per year. Letting family or friends stay counts against the limit. No more than 8 guests. 2 guests allowed per bedroom up to 8 max. No daytime guests. One vacation rental per person. Can't own a vacation rental in an LLC. Quadrupled permit fees. At $900 annually, this reflects a 400% increase from today's $225 permit fees. There's more.
