Has anyone built an A-Frame from the ground up?

I'm looking to tackle this as my next project and wanted to see if anyone had any advice/experience with this type of structure I should know. I learned a lot building my geo dome and other cabins, so I'm sure I'm in for some surprises again. TIA!

I actually built one of these when I was a kid. Pretty fun project. Are you thinking single story or two stories? And you know you lose a whole lot of square footage because of the roof angle, right? They are not a very common sense structure, why are you thinking about building one if you don't mind my asking?
