Hot Tub expenses - how much are you all paying for Maintenace?

Hey ya'll! 

For those who have a hot tub for your rental, may I ask how much you schedule maintenance and how much you pay for that maintenance?

Currently my hot tub maintenance person says I need to schedule her to come out to the property after every turnover to poor chemicals in and clean the tub. There are times I may have 3 turnovers in a week. I pay $60 for each time she comes out to clean the tub and put chemicals in. It is eating into my margins and was curious if I am overpaying for maintenance..?

So I have 4 hot tubs and my cleaners take care of the hot tub so it is included in their price.  That is pretty standard in my market and if I am not mistaken it is more like $25 dollar add on here roughly.    

I will say this.  If a guest asks you how often you clean your hot tub - the ONLY answer they want to hear is that it is drained cleaned and filled after every guest.  

I would not want to get in a hot tub that hasn’t been cleaned after strangers have been in there and neither will your guests.
