Here+ Property Spotlight

At some point I signed up for promotional emails from a company called Here. They were a syndicated STR that went belly up. The founder is now offering a property selection newsletter to find the "best STR deals".

I make it a little bit of a game to try find the properties that are spotlighted in their teaser newsletter and see if they are a good deal. I found this week’s property and it looks like they a good job finding a property that is eye catching and potentially cash flowing:

What do you think of this investment opportunity? The property looks like a decent location and is isolated from neighbors.

I personally only buy STR'S where I would want to go on vacation. The house looks great, but I have no desire to stay in a desert.

Other people may love this idea for some reason. 

Also I've heard one too many Horry stories about owning investment property in CA.
