How to section off closet for owners closet

I have a tiny condo that only has bedroom closets. And not enough space to comfortably fit a dresser in the bedrooms. I'm wondering if anybody has experience with sectioning off half of the closet and locking it? How did you do that?

The doors are sliding doors and we can probably change into bifold if needed.

We had someone build a divider wall and then we locked one of the doors.
