Ceiling Fan mishap

Justin Melton
Posted

I just had a guest check in and the ceiling fan blade (less than a month old) fell off and hit him in the head (no injuries or anything) but they would like me to come take a look at it.  I live close and that’s not a problem but any advice on n how to handle it?

I would apologize and say how glad you are no one got hurt. Feel them out. Most people understand things happen, it's all about how you handle the situation.

Maybe take them some doughnuts or similar treat. Hard to be mad at someone with doughnuts.

Then see what was wrong and make sure everything is fixed correctly and nice and tight.

If any dought, just replace the whole fan.
