Replacing baseboard thermostats
Hey everyone! I have two really grungy (though fully functional) baseboard heat-only thermostats, circa 1980. Similar to my previous question on Wi-Fi locks, what are people's experiences with modern thermostats? I've learned that it's a specialized type of line voltage thermostat, not compatible with regular low voltage Furnace/AC systems. I want it to be easy to use for guests, and allow me to set it remotely when the unit is vacant. Nest seems like a good bet, but it's not clear if they are compatible...? Thanks in advance!

Hey @Josh Carpenter. I am with @John Underwood on getting them swapped out.
There are very few smart thermostats that work with line voltage. And only 1 I can find that is WiFi that you can control from an app.

It will probably do what you need for the time being.
