Sevier County New Permit Requirements

https://cms5.revize.com/revize/seviercountytn/news_detail_T2... properties in Sevier County (Pigeon Forge area) but outside city limits will now be required to have a fire safety inspection annually and pay for a permit.

$250/year for occupancy of 12. 13 or more is an extra $25 per person.

Some properties are required to have a sprinkler system. This is based on age and occupancy.

You have to have a fire extinguisher on every level and it has to be inspected annually.

Chimneys and dryer vents are to be cleaned out annually.

on an occupancy of 23.

The owner of the property have to apply for the permit not a PM if applicable.
