Lodging Certificate in Blue Ridge, GA
First time STR owner here and trying to apply for a lodging certificate. One of the things that just came up in a conversation with Debbie is that they wanted to see what information we're displaying to the guests, such as gun laws, noise ordinances, nearest hospitals, etc. Unfortunately I wasn't able to quite get the information I was looking for in the time on the call, so I'm hoping someone here could chime in.
When applying for a lodging certificate, does anyone know what exact document they're looking for here? Is it the Airbnb listing or another document? If it's the Airbnb listing, I'm a little confused on why we would have to quote laws in the listing -- I feel like there's obviously a misunderstanding somewhere here. The Blue Ridge STVR Ordinance covers everything very clearly, but I'm still not sure what exactly I'm supposed to provide.
Any thoughts?

Hey @Alton Johnson, gratz on getting started!
So what I think they want is a good guide book or posted info in the house.
Just create a book for the house. A 3 ring binder maybe with the plastic 3 hole sheets filled with info. Create a single page with all the various emergency numbers as well as other numbers people might need.
Another sheet with the gun laws (whatever they might be). The NRA might have a single sheet for you. Maybe create a single sheet with the gun laws and the noise ordinance. Quiet times, from 10pm to 6am or whatever they might be.
Just pack the book with all the stuff a guest might want to know. Good restaurant menus, special stores, fliers for experiences like zip lining, contact info for grocery stores, or what ever.
You could add some check out instructions on the fridge. Add the basic ordinances on there as well.
That should suffice I would think. We have a book that is similar. Pretty easy to put together.
