We rented a small house In lower GA on Vrbo. I am torn on what kind of review to leave.

Here is what was wrong:

Rotten trim on the front porch

Porch deck board with a lot of play indicating support beam underneath needed to be repaired.

The ac filter did nothing as there was a door with louvers on back side of air handler intake where bulk of air was being pulled from

Mattress needs to be replaced.

All rooms with tile floor (3 rooms) had cracks in some of the tile.

Lights burned out in bottom of microwave that shines on stove

TV was good sized and had cable, but was not a smart TV and this was the only TV in the house.

No gutters on house, buth tin overhangs over window. These were annoying during a night time rain

Shower continually dripped

a few cleaning issues that other people may not have noticed?

The good

only 6 block walk to downtown waterfront area.

Tastefully decorated even though there was a few too much Knick Knacks

fenced back yard for the pooch

Too many barn doors and none of them locked

The AC was strong and worked well to cool the house

What kinda review would you leave them?

Yes I said Vrbo instead of STR because it annoys me when people call their STR an Airbnb.

Hey @John Underwood, so here is my take. If you had a good time, none of the defects affected your stay, the people communicated well and were nice, you had a good time then I would leave a 5 star review.

I would then leave a private note with all the defects you found. Point out the especially grievous ones like the failing support that could cause injury.

The gutters I find interesting. In Idaho, a lot of homes don't have gutters as the snow can tear them right off the house. I would have to guess in GA that, that would not be the case.
