STRs & Glamping in Terlingua

Ashley Tocco
Posted

Hi - I am curious if anyone has any experience with STRs or glamping sites in Terlingua, TX. Is it a good place to invest? I am out of state but very interested in learning more about the area - I have an STR in Galveston, TX which is what lead me to Terlingua. Any information would be appreciated!

Hey @Ashley Tocco. I would do some reading on the Terlingua area. There is a lot of turmoil around property taxes and valuation.

With STRs making up a portion of properties, things get more skewed.

This sort of turmoil affects the locals and could lead to things going south for STRs.
