Do I need a business license to Run an Airbnb?

Hello! I am about to put an offer on a great house hack duplex that has been getting used as an airbnb and comes fully furnished. Do I need a business license in the state of California to run an airbnb? and if so what is the process to get that business started as well as how long it takes, how much it costs, and any associated yearly fees/ payments to keep that license.
