Does anyone have butchers block in their STR?

How are they holding up?

What did you use to protect the wood?

any major issues with stains or knife damage?

Butcher block is not a good choice for a STR.

We had a wooden island that we finished ourselves and knife marks were on it in no time. We ended up getting a glass top cut for it.
