Vacation Rental Condo in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach AL

Derek Fike
Posted

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm looking to purchase a condo in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach, AL and am curious if anyone has any experience in the ST vacation rental market in that area? It seems like the ideal spot for high cash flow and occupancy.

Thanks!

There are many reasons why I will never buy a condo as an investment.

A few reasons:

HOA's - fees, surprise assessments, rules etc.

Competition with other condos is intense in many areas due the abundance of them. I will rent one sometimes because I can get an ocean front condo for ridiculous cheap money due to the afore mentioned supply of them.

A SFR will make you a better return on your money.
