Seeking P & C Insurance for STR / MTR in Cape Coral, FL

Ken Moore
Posted

I recently purchased a second investment property in SW FL that is listed as a rental with a professional property management firm.  I am researching insurance options and looking for suggestions / referrals.

Hey @Ken Moore. There are a number of insurers that provide STR coverage. We use Proper. It is a reseller of Lloyd's of London. It is more expensive but very comprehensive.

CBIZ and Foremost also provide coverage. I would check with your primary insurer and see what they have.

I would also recommend getting an umbrella policy to cover the possible liabilities. We carry 5m.
