Short Term Rental Agreement

Posted

Happy New Year Everyone! We are now ready to begin listing our first STR. We will list on AirBNB and other platforms. However, we plan to aggressively pursue direct bookings via Social Media, Ads, etc. For those direct bookings, I want to be sure we have appropriate legal protection. We spoke to a lawyer regarding which form to use and he said it needs to include language that ensures we can recoup for any damages. My question is have you paid the money to have a lawyer draft your document or have you used many of the templates available for purchase on the internet and modified it to meet your needs? Thanks for your help.

Once you find one on the internet maybe have your local attorney bless it?

This should be much cheaper than having him draft one.
