Does your STR group size vary?

Had 9 people move into one of my houses while here in town for a job.  Day shift and night shift work.  Last weekend 5 of them got layed off, leaving 4 in the house.  I charged them the same individual rate as I did when there were 9 people.  $250/person.

Does the number of people staying in your STRs vary/fluctuate during a single rental period, and how do you charge for the variance?

I have a 4 person max allowed in my places so not the same as your deals....but I would think you would have a number for max occupancy on your lease. And then if they want to add guests, then you charge say, $50 a person extra.

Just put it all in the lease that they sign and it should be ok I think....
