Hi All - I'm starting my first STR in November. I have an 8 year old lift master garage door opener with a keypad on the outside. I have a few questions:

#1 What is the best wifi device to add to this to program codes for guests to enter?

#2 How do I prevent them from using the learn button on the GDR to program their car or another device to open the garage - or - if they do that, can the wifi device wipe that once they are gone from the property?

#3 Do I have to remove the keypad that just has my code programmed at this point? It's not wifi and I'm not sure if someone could program it with an additional code.

I'm going to be living 9 hours away from my property, so I'm not going to have direct access to this stuff. Thanks!

Just leave them a garage door opener and don't sweat it. Make them responsible for locking up. 

Add a ring camera to monitor front of house.  Don't over complicate it.
