Off grid considerations
Looking to do an off grid glamping setup and trying to find out what options I have for things like water, sewer waste, and solar power.
I’m trying to determine how much and what it would take to go full glamping with a mini split and water heater and shower or if I go with a simple camp shower and composting toilet and maybe a small solar panel for a sting of lights and a place to charge phones.
Are there websites that help me know how much power I need based on what things I have?
I’ve seen people have water tanks for water I would love to have a resource I could look into on how those are setup.
Also I would like to know about waste water options if sewer and septic are not an option.
Thanks in advanced.
Kyle

First question is - are you going to do this legit (Permits and city involvement) or is this far enough out in the country where you can just do what you want?
I have done a full off-grid cabin so I know what it takes...
First - your main issue is always water. Simplest way is to get a tank, and have a delivery service fill it regularly.
Second - you'll need a septic....homebuilt w/55 gal drums is perfectly fine, but won't pass a real inspection.
Third - You need a propane tank for cooking, heating water, etc.... just haul in 100 gal tanks and swap the out yourself....or get a 300 gal tank from a company and have them fill it every 3 mos.
Fourth - A couple solar panels and a few batteries for lights and charging like you said
This is not cheap nor is it easy, but it is fun. And could attract the right people. Main problem is getting it cleaned after guests leave. Mine is just too far away to do that myself and too remote to find anyone else to do it. So see if you can find someplace you can clean yourself......
