Worst Case Scenario Plan for Smokey Mountain STR

Mia Crampton
Posted

Hi, I've been an avid follower of the Short Term Shop (Avery Carl). I'd love to hear from anyone who owns a STR in the Smokey Mountains... what is your 'back up plan' or exit strategy if necessary? In this market, I don't think going long term rental works, and I don't know about selling (depends on the market). I was thinking a good option could be to find someone who wants to arbitrage it from me. This is just WORST CASE scenario if I need an exit strategy. Wondering what others have. as their exit strategy. Thanks

There isn't much of a backup plan for the smokies, but you don’t need one for this area. It's such a hot tourist area.
