Anyone have suggestions for strategies that could help elevate excessive AC use at a vacation rental?

Aware of any split unit system that has a motion sensor accessory that would turn-off system when unit is vacant?

We’re getting electric bills that are around $500, when normal use usually produces bills around $200

WiFi thermostat. Control from your phone. But with bill going up that much it’s highly likely your unit isn’t functioning properly. I’d get it looked it. Might be time to replace. Put a Honeywell T9 with the unit and you’re good to go.
