HELP PLEASE - FIRE AT OUR SHORT TERM

Account Closed
Posted

We had a major fire at one of our STR properties in GA.

Has anyone ever been through this before and could give advice with the best way to

handle this. There was a guest there at the time, he said he lit the fireplace and then put it out (but it was still smoking a little)

and he went to sleep. Then he woke up to smoke.

Any help of guidance greatly appreciated if someone has walked through this before.  We are in shock.

Call 911 immediately.
Let the professionals put the fire out.
Asses the damage.
Call the insurance company.
Get it fixed.
Get it rented!

We all pray we never have to go through this. But generally it’s only a matter of time.
