Vacation rental loan for a mutlifamily
I am currently looking to purchase a triplex. Does anyone have experience in using a vacation rental loan to purchase a multifamily unit where a portion of the property (2nd/3rd floor) would be rented by long term tenants and one floor used as an STR? The 1st floor would be used as a STR and used as the vacation portion of the house. I am attempting to utilize less money down (10%) if possible by using a rental property loan. Thanks!

Sorry I replied before your post had generated. No it can’t be done. But you could live in one of the units and get even better loan terms
