Resources to convert a Bed and Breakfast into an Airbnb

David Smith
Posted

What are the resources for someone who wants to buy a Bed & Breakfast and then run it on Airbnb? (no breakfast, or simple breakfast) Need to see what staff can be hired and for what price to have a non-operating Bed & Breakfast on Airbnb.

Well that is a big place. Have you gone through AirBNB and VRBO listings in the exact area the place is? Is it an outlier for it's size? Are there other places that sleep 30+ people?

Personally I think it sounds like a cool place, but it seems like it would be best as a BnB or small boutique hotel. There is no reason you couldn't list each room on AirBNB with a one night stays. Plenty of motels/hotels list on AirBNB.

Are you prepared to run it as BnB or hotel? If not, then I would pass unless it is a fantastic deal.
