My first investment, but no tenants
Hi everyone. I am in the process of just purchasing my first investment property. I am a college student (20 years old) and have just acquired a 2bed/1bath fully remodeled home on a college campus. My only issue is that it is in a student living housing area and the majority of students already have living arrangements until the next school year (August 2022). I don't know if I should try and find a tenant and have them sign a 6-month lease until August 2022, OR Airbnb the property but I would need to purchase furniture, beds, kitchen things, etc...
If you have any advice/experience as to if I should try to find a tenant for 6-months or Airbnb I would really appreciate it! I am new to investing in Real Estate, but excited about this first property and just want to ensure it isn't sitting vacant for 6 months until next school year.

I would try and get some type of long term tenant in there at market rates. 1 year lease ok. Then when they do decide to move change it over to student rental.
