Doulgas Lake STR near Pigeon Forge

Greetings BP community!  We are up and running with 2 cabins near Gatlinburg and going well. Looking at adding to our portfolio and since prices going out of control expanding our search further out.  One area we stumbled across was a new development out on Douglas Lake.  Only 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge/Dollywood but it's a bit rough getting out there now.  Also, the "lake" was pretty low.

Anyone in the community have knowledge and/or experience with cabin rentals near Douglas Lake?

Thanks!

Have to be aware the lake is drained and empty half the year. Very pretty when it’s full.
It’ll do ok. Not as good as PF/GB but probably won’t lose money!
