Real Estate Investors can, and sometimes DO loose money. So come and learn about the risks investors face and how to weigh and mitigate those risks.
"It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so." - Mark Twain
Nobody likes to talk about it, but let's face it: Any type of investing inherently brings with it a certain amount of risk. Often risk and reward are opposite sides of the same scale.
However, when talking about investments we tend to spend almost all of our time discussing the "reward" portion of the equation.
This month we are going to flip that around and talk in depth about some of the real risks you are exposed to when investing in real estate projects.
Expect to learn about:
~ The relationship between risk and reward
~ Why people are so bad at estimating risks
~ 10 Real estate project risk factors you should consider
~ How to weigh and mitigate these risk factors*
* To keep the presentation under an hour we will not be discussing asset (liability) protection, entity structures etc. during this presentation.
You should also expect:
~ Mic time for members to introduce themselves & state wants/needs
~ Great networking opportunities before and after the presentation
~ Complementary food with vegan options
~ Beer, wine and non alcoholic refreshments
~ A+ Venue @ swanky WerqWise HQ on 149 New Montgomery St.
Do NOT expect:
~ Awkward pitches for coaching or training programs etc. - we have none!:)
AGENDA:
• 6:00 PM - Pre-event networking with lots of food and drink***
• 6:30 PM - Main Presentation
• 7:45 PM - Open mic member introductions & elevator pitches
• 8:00 PM - On-site networking with food and drink***
• 8:30 PM Doors close - but feel free to continue networking elsewhere!:)
*** Food Drink and Venue are provided by our generous sponsors!!
