Official diary of the Summit
I open this topic for all of us who not be able to come to the summit.
Summit attendees please write your daily experiences in this daybook maybe with some pictures if possible. So we can participate with you :).
And now, please enjoy!

Hi Uwe-as you can tell, Idon't sleep much! It is 4:30 a.m. here in Denver. Wifey and I arrived yesterday and went to the Denver Auto Expo show. Lots of great cars- new, experimental, exotic etc. Josh called and asked for some help getting the "gift bags" stuffed and put together for 400! Joined him and his MIL here in the hotel to help. Lot of fun and great chat. After finishing, we went for Danish rolls and chatted more. Josh Finally headed for home-by train!
Sorry you are not here. One of these times, we'll meet. Rich

Rich, so the party was over by 4:30 am! Don't forget to comb your hair down before going to breakfast....
You do know that we expect videos posted right?

I am really impressed you have kept the weight off. I am currently working on shedding 60lbs myself.
Congrads!!!!

Rain in Dallas? You are lucky now you will travel to a summer area ;).
And Rich Weese hair is #1.

Rich Weese love the hair. I'll have to invest in some hair myself. It seems to have a way of disappearing.
Sounds like a great party in Denver.
Any BP conference deals on WiFi? At the hotel or the convention center?

Registration will begin in the Lobby of the Hyatt in an hour and a half for anyone who is interested.....
Here's my entry... Flew in from STL, registered and immediately saw a good 10 to 20 familiar faces at the bar... Totally wussed out and ran to my room. Just being honest. Being an investor with 1 deal done had me at a loss for how to strike up a conversation with a room full of professionals. Tomorrow is a new day. I am going to learn as much as I can, throw caution to the wind, and interact at all costs. Here we go!!!

George Moehlenhoff don't let it get to you. I spent the whole day talking with a lot of great BP'ers. Some had done lots of deals (hundreds), some had done tens, some had done one or two, and some still have yet to do their first deal. I did not hear one discouraging word come out of anyone's mouth because of anyone's experience of lack of experience.
I did hear some words about Rich Weese hair but that's another story. :)
Come on out tomorrow and jump in the pool with the rest of us. The water is fine and there is room for everyone. Come on over and say howdy to me(the guy in the Hawaiian shirt) and we can have lunch with the rest of the guys and girls.
Joshua Dorkin, today was a great day in BP land. Thanks for putting this together.
You were one of the people I recognized when I wussed out. Not tomorrow though, it's a new day. I'll be swimming!!!!
Very well said Greg B., the water is fine. (some of the micro brews not too bad either...) I even found myself sitting at the bar drinking with Will B and having a great time. How crazy is that?
But seriously, everyone here is so cool, and what makes BP great is the way everyone helps everyone else. Nothing to fear here.
It is finally here- BP Convention 2012! Yesterday had its' normal arrival dramas and kinks to remove. Fun luncheon with 16 at Johnny Rockets and amazing weather and conversation. Wifey and I sat between JScott and Peter Guardini on the other. What fun! In the evening Realtor.Com sponsored a Cocktail hour and finger foods offsite for the other sponsors and Speakers. I was told I ate Wild Boar sandwich-not my norm!
I met with several of the big Speakers for today- Frank Gallinelli from Connecticut, Steve Cook from Wash D.C. and Tahani Aburaneh from Toronto. There were also many of the other speakers in attendance.
Upon arriving back to the Hotel, nothing going on in the Bar/lounge so called it a night. Not a drinker, and knew today would start early. One of the few that are here with Wifey, so turning in for the night was just lovely.......Rich
We are missing you, Jon Holdman. I'm sorry about your loss.
Jon K.
What about Jon?
