WHOS ATTENDED THE CONFERENCE? NEED ADVICE

Hello BP People!

I am a investor in Michigan and thinking about attending this conference BUT want to see what type of gathering it is... Ive attended other ones in the past that are really just one big sales event. I am NOT interested in this! I would like to LEARN not BUY seminars. I am a landlord and flipper just looking to expand my knowledge and learn from others. I would have to fly to Denver, pay for the conferance and three nights in a hotel plus expenses. To the people who have attended is THIS WORTH the time and money? ( plus I have to bring my husband :)

A little about me... I own 9 units and have rehabbed 5 homes... just looking to expand my knowledge on REOS

Joel Owens - They definitely missed the point, but do so in all aspects of their business. Then again, their business is the hard sell. Their business is the one that has made so many people disbelieve what we're doing. The real estate investing industry, in my opinion, has been greatly damaged by these people.

The speakers who are attending understand that by offering value, you will build your business. The members of BP who participate and give back do so for the same reason.

As for the recording of the event, I've said it several times before; we're certainly looking at doing an audio recording, but I make no promises at the moment. The event is also far more than an opportunity to listen to some speaker; it is the opportunity to shake hands, share a drink, spend time with, and do business with these speakers and your peers.

Certainly some people will have difficulty making it due to scheduling issues. Hopefully all the other members here who have been asking for this kind of event will register and attend. Unfortunatly, as in everything in life, the 80-20 rule applies. of the 100% of people who have said they would come, only 20% will actually show.

Those are the doers, and the kind of people I'd want to spend time getting to know . . .
