Is new construction the right move for you?
Join the Diversified Real Estate Investor Group at the May general meeting as experienced DIG member, Realtor and real estate investor Albert Stroble discusses the entire process of acquiring vacant land and developing new construction properties. Brian Corcodilos from DesignBlendz, Andrew Friedman and Jeff Marmur from Eastern Consulting will join Albert.
You’ll learn the advantages and disadvantages of new construction and how to determine if this type of real estate investment is the right fit for you. You will learn how to identify vacant land and the appropriate zoning uses that fit the type of project and best potential profit outcomes.
As part of the buying segment, speakers will provide insight on identifying the area, due diligence on the land acquisition side, working with wholesalers and Realtors, and finding off market land opportunities.
Selecting an architect, submission for municipal zoning and permits, obtaining construction financing and choosing a builder will be included in the planning/project management segment.
If you’ve always wondered how developing new construction properties differed from rehabbing houses, DIG’s May 31 meeting is one you will not want to miss.
DIG’s general meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at North Hills Country Club, 99 Station Ave., in Glenside. General meetings are open to all DIG members. First-time guests may attend one general meeting free of charge. To take full advantage of DIG’s monthly general meeting, as well as the 20+ monthly subgroup meetings, consider becoming a DIG member.
