We are pleased to have Joyce Biddix from Morrow Insurance Agency speak at our April meeting.

Born and raised in Henderson County, Joyce is proud to say she is a native of the beautiful area we live in. Her grandfather was an apple farmer. She picked many an apple in her early years; learning a work ethic and the value of a dollar at a young age. After graduating from East Henderson High School in 1982 she attended Blue Ridge Community College through academic scholarships. Joyce started in the insurance industry at the ripe old age of 17 as an after-school job and received her property & casualty and life & health insurance license at 18. Joyce has been with Morrow Insurance Agency in Hendersonville for 25 years as a commercial insurance producer and manger and in the insurance industry for 36 years.
As a long-time supporter of the United Way of Henderson County, Joyce has sat on the Income Panel committee for many years. In February 2015 she was asked and accepted a Board Member position which she continues. Joyce co-chaired the Rising Leaders committee in 2015 and took over as chair in 2016. She has sat on the Board of Directors for Henderson County Youth Softball and Medical Loan Closet. 
Over the years she has taught insurance classes and most recently been asked by the Big I to become part of their Continuing Education Staff instructing other agents for required continuing education credits in North Carolina.
