Hello fellow BiggerPockets members from and around the greatest city in the world, New York! I'm pleased to announce our next Meetup in Manhattan will be taking place on Wedneday May 24th at 5:30pm, so put it in your calendar!

I have to say that I'm again thrilled to let you know that both J. Scott and Carol Scott will be joining us again for this event.  I'd be surprised at this point if anyone doesn't know Carol and J you're in for a treat! As I've mentioned of these two from the past events, there are few people on BiggerPockets with the experience and know how of these two. They've flipped hundreds of homes and made millions doing so. They've chronicled the events at www.123flip.com and also at www.thescottpad.com.   J authored the best selling BiggerPocket's book,  "The Book on Flipping Houses" which is still of the top selling real estate books on Amazon, after years of being written. 

Some consider The Book on Flipping Houses as the go to book above all others in this category.  

J and Carol are back with a new book which is something all can benefit, called "The Book on Negotiating Real Estate" which they penned with BP Podcast #68 guest Mark Ferguson!

J and Carol are going to be highlighting parts of the book for the group so it should be an incredible event because it doesn't matter what type of real estate investor you are, you'll benefit from the message!  This book is HUGE!  I had the good fortune to read it already and I'm quite surprised just how much they go over in it.  It's sure to help any real estate investor be it a seasoned Pro or if you're just getting started.  It's one I'm going to keep close at hand personally. 

Again, the event will take place at 27 East 28th Street in the WeWork space. We've been in a different WeWork space many times before and it's worked out great. Glad to be back in another one of their locations. We'll start at 5:30pm and go to at least 8:30pm or until they kick us out.

As I have in the past, I want to personally thank Matt Rodak from FundThatFlip.com for getting us back to the WeWork space and making it happen. Thanks Matt! Expect to hear from him during the event about the great service that he provides and deservedly so. And that's the only "pitching of products or services" you'll hear outside what other members may talk to you about.

Even if you're brand new to BiggerPockets, a first time investor or a seasoned Pro, money lender or contractor, wholesaler or business professional, be sure to be there and meet other members and those interested in Real Estate investing from the NYC metro area which includes Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Orange County, Fairfield County CT, and Northern NJ.

There is no dress code. Come as you feel most comfortable to network with others. Just be prepared for a great event.
