What the Heck is the Property Worth? Ever wonder how it is that you can ask your trusted Realtor how much a property is worth and their number varies so much from the Appraiser who actually appraises the property? Do you think it’s possible you could hire 4 different Appraisers to evaluate a property and come up with 4 different values? It is possible but WHY????? Can you trust Zillow? What other free home valuation websites are out there? What information can you get off of public records to help you determine a home’s value? What criteria are most important in determining the value of real estate? Is it square footage? Number of bedrooms? Number of bathrooms or the age of the home? What about the quality of the home compared to all of the homes in the same neighborhood?

This month at REAPS we are hosting “How In the World Do I Determine the Value of A Property Workshop”!!!!! This is a HANDS-ON MEETING.
We will have a panel of agents, investors and appraisers and put them each to the test of valuing several properties LIVE while YOU watch. We’ll uncover exactly how they do it, what tricks they use online to find information and what criteria each of them consider ‘important’ to determining value of real estate.
The participants won’t know ahead of time the properties we’ve chosen and will have the same time to complete their research and then they will report back to the audience their problem-solving methods!
Most importantly YOU get to play along in the audience. We’ll have wifi for all of you so you can bring your ipads, laptops and smart phones and we’ll put you to the test too.
