Atlanta Lunch Meetup - Thursday, February 19th

I am pleased to announce our lunch meetup is scheduled on Thursday, February 19th at Marlow's Tavern in Dunwoody (covered patio seating can accommodate 70 people). 

Please come join us for fun networking lunch and knowledge sharing event. There will be no sales pitch, guru talks at the event. This is simply meet and greet with other like minded individuals and network in person with local BP and other Real Estate professionals. 

Due to space limitations please RSVP for the event.

I have eaten at the Marlow's tavern in Kennesaw. Pretty decent food but the restaurant wasn't that big. Might want to give the owner a head count as you will fill the place up quick Azeez! lol

Location: Marlow's Tavern Dunwoody

Fee to Attend: Free

What to Expect:

• Anywhere between 35-45+ people
• Name Labels will be provided
• We will have plenty of seating in the heated patio
• Upon arrival please sign in using the computer (optional). We will send the sign in contact sheet and provide it to all the people who attend the event. This way you have everyone’s contact information
• Once your sign in kindly make way to the table and be seated and respond to wait staff request for lunch and drinks. We want to make the event is more organized and that we are welcome back there for any future events if this turns out to be a great meeting place
• We will do some version of speed networking as well
• Provide feedback to make future events better

Helpful Tips:

• 1.Honor the RSVP: If you have RSVP’d “yes” please keep your commitment
• 2.Be Yourself: Be genuine
• 3.Smile
• 4.Mix and Mingle: Try to stay away from breaking into a conversation with only two people
• 5.Put away your cell phone: Refrain from checking text, sending quick email, check your phone in private instead of in the middle of the networking event
• 6.Don’t attempt to close a deal
• 7.Treat people like friends – build a rapport
• 8. Don’t be a card spammer – Don’t hand your card to everyone and anyone without them asking

Glad your event went well.

I wouldn't call myself a legend..lol

I am just another broker & investor who is passionate about commercial real estate. There are people everyday I come in contact with that I am in awe of what they are doing. Just like everyone I learn every single day and try to get better. Sometimes I wish I could go to sleep at night and just have real estate in the background so I wake up with more info... : ) 

If you have the event somewhere around Cherokee county that would be great or Cobb by the Town Center mall. Somewhere within 20 to 30 minutes where I can come and then get back to the office for the day.

Unless you live close to Atlanta those type locations with traffic are a bear and eat up most of your day. Out in the burbs it's easier to get back and forth. I know it will be far for some but closer for others. These events I just like getting out of the office and talking with people.
