Attention real estate investors in Houston! Don't miss out on our 9th REI meetup event. Each of our get-togethers spotlights a talk from a unique real estate investor or industry professional in the Houston market and presents a golden opportunity to gain invaluable insights. There are no sales pitches, only actionable, ethical investing advice.

Last month we were thrilled to host Ryan Johnson, Director of Investor Relations at GenWealth Capital Group. Ryan shared how he has been building duplexes in Houston and selling them, he went through some of the challenges of C-Class properties and talked about his 138-unit complex in Austin, and how he has continued to leverage a HELOC to accelerate growth!

This month we are shifting gears slightly to have a more strategic meetup that will go through evaluating an area in Houston, comping properties, and determining if something is a "deal". This workshop will be led by Andrew Gardner, owner of Leap Properties. Andrew will go through his process of evaluating properties and what you can use if you don't have access to the MLS. Andrew is doing flips, wholesales, delivering turn-keys, buying land to subdivide, and recently purchased a 9-unit apartment so he knows how to look at different angles of a deal.

This month's meetup will provide step-by-step instructions so come prepared to take some notes, ask questions, and sharpen your REI skills!
