This month, we’re excited to have Andrew Gardner, owner of the SoldFast franchise in Houston, as our guest speaker! After a 7-year career with a commercial general contractor, Andrew launched his real estate business in 2021, focusing on wholesaling and flipping properties. However, since early 2024, with the addition of an in-house brokerage, he has shifted away from wholesaling and now focuses on buying and listing properties. Andrew will share a challenging experience involving partners, multiple properties, and a contractor, where a potential multi-six-figure profit turned into a situation that required bringing money to the table to close. Join us to learn valuable lessons and insights on what to watch out for in Houston to avoid similar pitfalls!

UPDATE: Hey Everyone, due to the hurricane last week we are moving Michael and Beth to next month, on August 21st.

We will still have the meetup, but instead of a guest speaker, we can discuss things that happened to our properties during the storm (a tree may or may not have fallen on a property that is currently listed to sell). We can talk about some things we did and didn't do and have an open forum for anyone to discuss any learnings they had.
