September Lake Norman Meetup

This month's Lake Norman Real Estate Meetup is Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30 pm and we will be meeting in person at Sabi Asian Bistro in Davidson (Exit 30) at 130 Harbour Place Drive, Davidson, NC 28036!

We are super excited to have Matt Ruggiero as our speaker this month! Matt is the COO at Better Path Homes as well as a licensed broker for his own firm. Before getting into real estate, he studied mining engineering at Virginia Tech and worked at underground salt mines as a project engineer; pretty cool huh?

In 2016, he got his real estate license with the idea to buy his own rentals, but fell in love with hunting for deals for investors. In 2019, he joined forces with Stephanie, Jeff, and Zach and became Better Path's COO. He has grown the company into a 100 property/year new build and 200 property/year wholesale company with 12 employees and a group in the Philippines.

Matt is a wealth of knowledge and is going to take us through MULTIPLE important lessons he's learned along the way to hopefully help speed up all of our learning curves. Some of those lessons include:

• -Scaling your business and what it takes to not collapse once you cross the next threshold
• -Finding your niche
• -The process behind high volume and why their transaction team is so successful
• -How to JV with Better Path and why you would do so
• -Market outlook
