This Real Estate Hackers group is designed for everyone in real estate investing: flippers, landlords, contractors, wholesalers & anyone/everyone (both new & experienced) interested in Real Estate Investing! Join us this month to discuss short term rentals with Chad & Ashleigh Gallagher!

Chad and Ashleigh Gallagher will be sharing their experience getting their first Airbnb up and running (it has its own Instagram @thebaybreak if you want to take a sneak peek).

Chad is from Lititz, PA, and worked in digital advertising until he started a property management company with his best friend from Warwick High School. His company merged with Home365 in 2021 and is now one of the largest property management companies in the entire country. Ashleigh grew up in Northern Virginia and just finished her Ph.D. in Public Health from Johns Hopkins. So basically nothing related to running an Airbnb :).

Chad and Ashleigh both have experience managing real estate rental units, but this is their first time starting an Airbnb, and they started big with an 8-bedroom 8,000 square foot Airbnb on the Chesapeake Bay. They will discuss how they found the property, potential tax advantages, revenue potential, unforeseen costs, helpful technology/apps, lessons learned in their first year, and the pros and cons of running an Airbnb.

They have a daughter Isabelle (6) and a son Clayton (10 months). Fun fact: they both went to the University of Virginia for college but they actually met after college (ask Chad about the first night they met if you want to hear a funny story).

The purpose of this group is to help each other grow wealth by sharing knowledge, learning different avenues of investing in Real Estate & sharing resources to become better landlords and investors.
