NJ Eviction Moratorium (low income) ends January 1st 2022
Right now one of my tenants has been receiving aid from the state to pay their rent. If I had to guess, once this runs out they will fall behind on rent again. Has anyone heard of this being extended past January of 2022 in NJ? I currently have them on a month to month lease as I have a feeling once their relief is gone it will be hard for them to get back to reality (can't pay rent but can get a brand new SUV, etc.)
