Hello Biggerpockets Community!

I have been wanting to break into the real-estate world for years now but always allowed excuses or small trifles to discourage me. But with a small savings and work relocation, I think my wife and I are ready to take out first step. If anyone has knowledge for a first time investor, as well as knowledge of the market in Brazos county tx, plz help me out and PM me.

I've heard that the market isn't the best to get into right now, especially for a noob, but I also have heard that there is a deal if you know where to look. So if you have mastered the art of finding a deal and are willing to share your wisdom, plz allow me to learn from you. I have been reading books, watching podcasts, and attending webinars on bigger pockets for years, I believe I'm finally ready to join the ranks of investors/property owners.
