Chattanooga Rental Market

Hey everyone. Now that the Chattanooga market has cooled off a bit from a few months ago, wanted to see what everyone's view of the current rental market is. Still strong rental demand.

My partner and i have a new rental just across the border in N. Georgia and want to ensure we're priced right.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Daniel Walker!  Yes, we are no longer in the "white hot" spring market for sales and rentals.  There is still strong rental demand, but it's less crazy.  The property managers I work with are still pricing aggressively initially to see what they can get, and if there are no takers they are dropping the price after a week or so.

You aren't really sharing any details to determine if you're priced right.  If you have it listed in a lot of places and you don't have applications in 1-2 weeks, in my opinion you need to drop your price.
