About prescreen before showing

Dan Wei
Posted

Just had my rental listed and received some leads. I do send them prescreen questions to them. One of them replied that she is currently not renting or owning a house, she is moving because she just accepted a job nearby and she can’t provide rental references because she had lived overseas for 10 years and just moved back last year. She would live together her fiancé and newborn daughter. She has great credit score about 800. Should I let her view the house? It just sounds strange for me. Can someone has great credit score while hasn’t live in US for that long? Is it ok if her fiancé can provide rental references? And by the way, can I ask for ID for showing? I don’t show house in person. I have a lockbox and they can get key and view house by themselves. Thanks for all the opinions!
