Sharing Costs of Repairs w Tenants

Is it a good idea for landlords to share the costs of repairs with tenants?

Example, an AC repair costs $525.  Should I tell my tenants how much this repair costs me by sharing the receipt in the maintenance record?

I’m asking bc the tenant is currently late on rent, and I need her to understand the importance of being on time.  Originally, I was going to hold off on the repair bu figured it could hurt us more later.  BTW, are landlords responsible for repairs in a cycle when rent is late??!

@Nita Martin as I understand when you say "share" you mean "show", so should you show the tenant the bill or tell them how much it costs to repair the A/C?  No.  There is no reason to do that.  Not all, but I would say the majority of tenants do not care about your bills.  It is your house, your business, your problem.  What they care about is a working A/C in this case : )

I am not sure the proper term or if this would be passive aggressive but there is a term for it, like trying to shame them into paying rent or seeking pity to make them pay rent on time.

This is a business, treat it as such.  Rent is due, if not paid you need to send notices.  Talk to them about rent, don't go about it in a backwards way like this.
