Michigan Bedroom Carpet

Hello. Can anyone tell me whether tenants expect carpet in bedrooms in (Lansing) Michigan? Generally I'd prefer hardwood or similar, but I know some tenants in different regions have different expectations, and I've heard a couple people mention that carpet is the preference in Michigan. Thanks!

@Lyandrea Russell i would avoid carpets, a commercial-grade laminate will last 4-5 tenants while a carpet will be ruined after 2. If you have hardwood floors it's even better, there's an added cost up front but it's going to save you a lot of maintenance $ down the road.
