Lease extension after lease expiry daily/weekly/bi-weekly/monthly

Folks,

   After the expiry of lease, if tenant is asking for few days extension for ex: 13 days. Do you charge them daily rent for those number of days or just go with minimum extension period such as two weeks or one month ? This is in California.
